ok I've been eating smaller portions, skinless chicken, incorporated more fruits and veggies and those supposedly muffa nuts/oil that are supposed to help belly fat by blocking sugar or something to that effect, drinking lots of water and walking and all I've lost is 2 1/2 pounds in a month...depressing!! I'm desperate to lose at least 30 lbs, would like 40 but DH thinks that's getting to thin. I'd like to ramp up my exercise to weights but with my ribs tendency to displace, I have to be so careful of things like that. So walking is my exercise option and maybe 2 lb. weights so as not to yank on the rib cage to much. But you'd think with my healthier eating the weight would come off. My husband followed my diet for a few weeks and lost 10 lbs with no exercise. Now that's just not right! I've had my thyroid checked and that's fine, was hoping to blame it on that but doc did say at my age (47) my metabolism is slowing down along with all the hormonal changes a woman goes through, so weight loss can be that much more difficult for me vs. DH. But I hate the way I look and feel. Maybe I'll look into the blood type diet once I find out my blood type.
