Kathie, the Canadian Mist was in plastic bottles, right? Whew, for a second there, I was afraid we'd have to call out the HazMat team.

I'm glad your OK and your story will open up a few eyes. Thanks for sharing the lesson.

Heck yes they were in plastic bottles...But they were still heavy and made a hell of a dent in the b..astard side door. I think all my bruises are from him shoving it into me but more so by trying to keep the cart upright. That is $194.00 of booze..lol.

Yes,we all are keeping our eyes open. But the sad fact is, when it happens to us we are not expecting it, and it doesn't matter whether we are armed with mace, stun gun, knives, or a 45 cal. I think the only alternitive is to draw a weapon when anyone comes within 20 feet of us. I know I can't,and am guessing that most/all of us cannot either. Couple that with the fact, if we did,our government would have us in jail inside of two weeks. Meanwhile, I'll just have another beer.

Just make sure you don't blow the body outside. If you do, drag it back in before the cops get there. A Cop told me that.

My Gosh kathie. How very frightening for you.
CM or not, how long did it take to stop the adrenelin shooting through your body? Hate to mention this, but this happened to a friend of mine. She is 76 and not as formidable or quick thinking as you, but I just wanted to give you a heads up- They had her address and tried to break in, even though she changed the locks when her car was out of the driveway. She felt that they knew her car. Guess there are a few organized groups down this way going around doing this. Keep alert, and keep safe. Our thoughts are with you

They got what they wanted, quick cash. Be diligent but do not fret as you have done all you can now.

Little did they know about the contents of the cart or they would.have taken it and left your purse
Glad your Ok and you are past the adrenelin rush.

Thank God you are safe. Always the clear thinker preserving the valuables. Let the thieves have the less valuables.
