70' Nomad 16ft'er
Got it for a fairly good price for my area . Needs some minor cosemtic work and the small leak in the roof fixed. It's been sitting for two years outside coved and has held up pretty good. last owner painted the panelling but I can deal with tha. it's mostly just going to be used as a local runner. It's a step or two above sleeping on the ground ! Doesn't look like the fridge is working on 110 and the battery is dead to try it on 12V and the propane is empty to try the fridge and furance. has a Toliet with a small tank but no grey tank. Also need to look into new tires it has 15"car tires on it right now and looks to be a little bouncy ride.

Sorta proves the old adage, 'they don't build them like they used too'. I had '69 model 24' Nomad. I still see some of that vintage around. Much luck to you in restoring it and enjoying it.

Mini-project turns a little bigger then first expected
the leak in the roof has ben leaking for much longer then this winter ( as I was first told) we had to rip out the complete interior ( with the exception of the kitchen area) and about half the roof. 3 roof ribs need to be replaced along with a floor joist.Plumbing is going to be changed to plastic flex and I might be taking out the fridge not sure if there's going to be a need for it Needless to say the floor we be re -sheeted while everything is out. here's some pics from my cell phone of the inside rippe out

This weekend was a workout . We put new 3/4 ply now( a little overkill) new lino, rebuilt the whole drivers side using the same fronts of the dinnette, re sealed the roof, wired all new clearance whites, painted the front hitch and A frame , re-painted the back bumper , replaced 4 of the roof ribs and but up new panelling
here are some pics camera one day the other is cell phone ... Right now I'm just working on the trim for the roof re-locating some switches and lights etc...

My wife painted the "n"

Looks like its coming along real good. Funny how one project leads to another. Hang in there looks like the worst is over.
Will you add a 12v system? We did and I'm glad it's there too. For the amount we use it (lights only) I opted to use a battery charger and I have it so I can charge form the inside. The charger sits under my dinette bench. Then during the winter I have a battery tender hooked up.
Keep us posted. Looks good so far, Mich60
