About a year ago we had water getting in to our Rv through some poor caulking on the roof. Anyway it left some water stains on our interior ceiling in the bedroom. The ceiling is a carpet type ceiling. Can anyone advise on how to get rid of the stain, short of putting up a new ceiling covering?

We used some of the spray-on carpet stain removers that took a bit of elbow grease, but worked fairly well. It was one reason we looked for a vinyl covered roof this time around, though!

We used Resolve spray/foam upholstery cleaner (others make a similar product). Sprayed it on a clean piece of terry cloth. Rubbed it in then wiped clean. Let it dry. Repeated steps several times. Cannot tell where stain was.
