Oooo, all that salesman BS makes me mad!! We just bought from a great dealer in Bozeman Montana and saved thousands. Here they were telling me about the wiring and propane regulators being different and all that BS. Right on the side of my trailer is a decal that says "this trailer meets all US and CAN requirements" Total******about the wiring and all the other stuff. They have promised me that I will NOT get service here in Canada. Jayco's head office had something quite different to say. They said they will deal with them at a corporate level if they refuse me service and even gave me a little letter to take with me from them. These guys here don't give an inch, they are getting tons of business from Albertans with lots of money and don't give any deals away, they don't have to and really don't care. ARGGG, my blood pressure!

I am the type who always tries to buy locally but don't tolerate being treated as a fool. I could believe that the Canadian dealers have higher relative overheads with shipping and taxes etc, but that would not be a large amount. I am willing to pay the increaed shipping cost and even $1-2k more for a vehicle locally for the goodwill and the time and hassle saved relative to buying from US sources. I will not pay 8K more for that privelige, and unless I see some significant price flexibility when deal time comes, I will be shopping South of the 49th.
