Congrats...on your new PUP! You will have sooooooooo much fun with it. I did a search online for photos/floor plans..and it is SWEEEEEET! Looks like loads of room for your family.

I sure hope the weather will be good for you this weekend, cause I know how CO weather can be...since I live in CO too!

Make sure to take an elec. (small) heater...just in case you have problems (1st time out) with your PUP heater. I remember the very first time we bought our 1st PUP 28 years ago...and the DH did not practice lighting the heater (it was REALLY HARD way back then to light those suckers!) and we about froze. So from then on...when we camped in cold weather and had elec. hook-ups, I always stuck a small elec. heater in the back of the car...JUST IN CASE! LOL In fact, I still do pack one cause it really saves on the propane...and since we are paying for hook-ups...why not use the elec. more than the propane to heat.

We are soooooooo looking forward to having our 1st camp-out of the season over Memorial Day weekend. Sure wish it was time already cause I have spring fever and when the weather is nice one day...it snows the next! AGGGGHHHHH!

Have a great time and make sure to get plenty of marshmallows/graham crackers/chocolate for those smores! Can't wait to see some photos...so please post them.

HAPPY CAMPING!!

Ohhhhh WaltinColo,

You make me jealous with that warm weather already down in Pueblo. Love your new pontoon boat.

Here in Texas, we have already been out for a week right before Easter. We did go through some pretty awesome storms in the pup with some torrential rains (my door mat was floating in 4 inches of water), amazing lightning, thunder and winds!!!! We have done that in the past, but not as bad as it was this time. The winds the night before were the strongest we have ever been through, with gusts that had to have been in the 40mph or more range. Other than that, the weather was great. I was in shorts and got sunburned!!

Congrats on the new PUP. We got our Flagstaff last summer and had a great time. Looking forward to this camping season!

Our first outing was to the KY Horse Park in Lexington--about 10 miles down the road. I think I soent the better part of the evening trying to figure out how to the water heater worked and how we were going to drain the tanks. Best purchase so far is an external holding tank. 27 gal takes care of showers and toilet use for the day and then I drag it to the dump station.

Happy Camping!

Congrats on your new pup. You will love it. I also have 5 kids, wife and a dog. B-11, G-8, B-6, G-2.5, G-1, wife-31 and Min. Schnauzer 3 and me-37. We got our pup last year after being tent campers all our lives, it got quite difficult with little ones. Pup's make a world of difference from tent camping but still give you the feeling of the outdoors. I think maybe in the years ahead you may outgrow your pup as the kids get older and bigger. You have 12, 14 and now a days 16 foot pop-ups to upgrade to when you have to. Have fun on your first trip and you'll learn little by little what you need to take, it's part of the fun.

I got just like yours, mine is a 2007, I think the stove is different in yours. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. My kids are all young adults now, so it's me and the wife and the 1980 is perfect for us.
P.S I even pull it with my car.
