I forgot to warn you: if you use the outside BBQ, when the lid is hot, if you open it, it can touch the canvas and melt it. It happened to me, didn't do too much damage but it's a shame when it's brand new...

Hi Everyone!
It has been great reading all of your replies.
Thank you for the tip about the RVQ!! We really appreciate that and will not use it while connected to the PUP so we can avoid that problem.
We are getting all ready to go. We got the kids sleeping bags today and they were all excited at bedtime when we laid them out on the living room floor to try out for a little bit!!!
I have been packing lots and lots and my DH has been thinking that I am packing WAY to much stuff. We will see. I am using very good at thinking of everything. We will see!!!
We will let you all know how things go and we will for sure have pictures to share at the end of the weekend!!

congratulations we are going to golden gate state park a couple of times this year. We are also going to Mueller state park. U might want to check them out both places are very nice. U will enjoy you pu a lot and make good memories.

We too live east of Denver. Glad to see all the Coloradoans show their support. We went from a PUP to a travel trailer and now back to a PUP and I can't wait to take our maiden voyage in it. Unfortunately other plans have us occupied for a couple more weeks. We have a 6 year old and a 3 year old that remind us every day that they are READY to go CAMPING!

Hi Everyone!!
We just got home from our first trip. We had a wonderful time!!!
I will try to get some pictures posted in a bit!!
Thanks for all of your help and tips. Everything went pretty well and nothing major happened.
We already planned to go next weekend (even though we had originally planned to take a week off.) We now have the camping bug!!

I just got a new camper also and we are headed up to June Lake Ca for the opening of trout season next week. We have a Starcraft 34 RT. Are there any other 34RT Starcraft owners out there? Any advice on nice to have "stuff" I think I have all of the need to have items.
