Hello,

We just purchased our first Keystone Springdale Travel Trailer and was told that we could use the toilet paper from Costco as it is ok for the septic tank. Does anyone use this paper in their rv bathroom? If it's not good , then what should we buy?

I have used their TP for 30 yrs in my home, boat, and TT and never had a problem.My home is also on septic.

Do not use 2 ply embossed Costco TP. Depending on how your black tank plumbing is ran, if it has some bends, you will have issues. Use only single ply. The test is to put a single sheet in a glass of water, see how long it takes to disintegrate. Compare single ply with 2 ply. If they both fall apart at the same rate, then OK. The only time we had horrible issues was 3 years ago when "someone" grabbed the Costco 2 ply by mistake. This is especially important if you have children, and ours always go with. Plus the ladies seem to use more than the guys, and clogs are a great way to ruin your always unpleasant enough dumping experience! Use plenty of water when flushing, too!
