Does anyone here use a Dodge Magnum/Charger for towing. Their tow rating is 3,800 pounds with the tow package on the RT models. I would think that with their long wheel base, 5.7L engine and big brakes that they might make decent tow vehicles for pop-ups or small hybrids.

I drove one that was pulling a 26 foot airstream. It slalomed, accelerated and stopped with no issue.

So a pop up or hybrid wouldn't cause it to sweat.

POP UP should be just fine. 3800 lb. tow rating when adjusted downward to compensate for passengers, luggage etc, isn't going to tow much of a hybrid. I towed a small ski boat with a Magnum and it did OK but boats are about the easiest thing you can tow. The same thing that makes them easy to go through the water also makes them easy to go through the air so little wind resistance. Overcoming wind takes more HP than the weight. Good luck / Skip
