My tripod stabilizer has two holes in the pin cup for a padlock. The tripod can't be separated from the pin without removing the padlock.

I would agree with using a king pin lock at a minimum. I'm anal about things like that though (former cop), so I actually do more than that.
First, I have a set of those scissor chocks that go between the tires -- both of those have paddle locks on them. Then I run a heavy cable through two of the wheels and lock that. Plus, when its parked I always disconnect the batteries so that the front legs cant be retracted -- and I've fashioned a metal cap over the end of the motor so that they cant be manually cranked up without having access to the front storage area.
It might not stop 'em, but they're gonna have to work for it -- and they'll be attracting a bunch of unwanted attention doing so.

Trlr insurance policy with full replacement value.
Always know what my next one would be, LOL!

Hitch: = SuperGlide,
Need about three big men & a big boy to get it out of the truck.
But - lock the removable head - that would be (too) easy!

Now you could do what an old codger did with the new

. . . . . chain it to a tree!

I didn't realize that 5th wheel theft was so rampant as to make such measures necessary!!

There's always a first time and it will be the one with no lock.
Someone posted a while back that their Super Glide was stolen out of their truck in just a matter of minutes. That is all it would take. I use my receiver hitch lock through my mounting pins on mine as in the picture below. I take mine out rails and all so the pins that hold the hitch to the rails are put in backwards so the locks are underneath where you can't get to them with bolt cutters. I know someone could still get it, but not without tools and it would take a while.

Trailer thefts actually happen more than you might think... but most of my precaution stems from having been the victim of a car theft (while I was a cop!).
Criminals look for easy targets, not hard ones. Its a fact that if someone is predisposed to commiting a criminal act, they're more likely to do so if an 'easy' opportunity presents itself. Most camper thefts are not because someone is looking for a nice 5th wheel to take on family trips -- they happen "because they can" -- people get off on creating inconvenience and fear (and vandalism) just because they can.
The hassle for the victim post-theft, in my opinion, is more than enough reason to do what I can to prevent it in the first place.

I had one of Them 9mm. We pulled into my son-in-laws drive with the fith wheel. Parked and spent the night in the trailer. Woke up in the morning to find the window in the truck broken out. The 9 was gone alung with 2 cell phones, My Goog Sam card and some Wal-Mart gift cards. All this was done while we were asleep with the windows open.
There was a good ending to all this. The crook called a few friends and his mother on my cell phone and the police traced the numbers. Got everything back except the gas cards and one cell phone.Took a full year to get the pistol back, had to keep it for evidence etc.Still my hats off to the Mesa Az. Police dept.Found the crook in less than a week.
