No excuse that this got by the mechanic that performed the PDI.
One process of any good PDI is to fill all water and holding tanks to test for leaks. I would say this wasn't done since the mechanic would have needed to then dump the tanks after testing.
 I would have a word with the service manager and/or general manager about this.

I can't think of a worse place to be than at a race with a full bladder and a full black tank and no way to dump. My apologies folks but that's just Wrong !!!

Glen, no apologies needed! I just wonder why the new owner didn't verify operation of ALL systems on HIS PDI!? We all know that these units are built by humans & subject to boo-boos just like anything else...My neighbor refers to them as "brain far-s"...but that is why PDIs were put in place.
Get a checklist & don't part with your $$$ until ALL items are OK'd!

You could take the pan off and manually dump. They have to take it off anyway. I dropped my pan and left it off, i disconnected my cable on the black tank valve. I dont think it was closing all the way and now i can make sure.

PDI's some people just need to get it home to show it off when you should take every ounce of time to inspect it top to bottom you are paying so use their time to make sure it is functioning and do not sign the papers until you are satisfied.Rule # 1 Take the time to do the pdi right and get it fixed right then and their.Even if you are a veteran camper these rv's change from year to year and something simple could trick you up because it functions differently now.My dealer takes all the time you want and goes over everything and how it operates.
