WalMart has several to choose from. Eureca, Bissel, dirt devil. Make sure it has a switch that allows you to run the vac with the carpet brush on or off. Also a good lenght of hose to do upostery, etc. All of these have small filters at the top of the tank. Pick up a couple when you buy it. WalMart has these also.

We have a Dirt Devil Express Vac. Only about $50 at Target or Wally's. Its small but does an excellent job. It doesn't have a hose for above the floor tasks, for that we use the onboard Dirt Devil built in vac.

We have the Dirt Devil ( all red) that has the hose attachments for cleaning couch etc... Also has a beater bar on the bottom of it. The handle slides down so we cn put it into our cabinet ( by the door on our Jayco 322FKS Trailer). It's bagless and we've used it 2 years now. Works great. Bought it at Sears for $49.95.

Good luck,

I use a Hoover EmPower. It is the number 8 rated vacuum and can be found on sale for $70-80. Has a folding handle also.

States I have spent the night in my current rig, bought three years ago.

The wife laughed at me when I went out and got the smallest shop vac I could find. It was my intent to mount it in a lower compartment and just run 'piping' to a connect in the coach. Well someday still isn't here yet but it has worked so well that it may never take up comparment space. It is great for vacuuming the toad, steps, patio mat etc., not to mention the carpet after my double coated dogs has spent some time on it.

I use a Eureka Boss Super Lite or Ultra Lite or something like that. I have it at home right now. It's yellow and has a telescoping handle. It does not have onboard tools but I have a handheld for those chores. Powerful little thing. I paid @$40 for it about four years ago. KMart or Wal*Mart. It is bagless and you can set it for carpet or bare floors.

We have the built-in in ours. Guess it's called a central vacuum. Came with our unit but it would be easy to install. Works great.
