Has anyone ever ridden and camped at Nellis Dunes, we are heading there next weekend, I have ridden there once but have never camped, does anyone have any info or where to camp etc. Parents live down the road from there and want them to get a chance to see the kids ride. Cant get the 5er into their community so we are going to camp out there.
I haven't been out there in years but I've heard it's a dump. Idiots taking trash, cars, appliances, etc out there to dump. Also, my teenage daughter told me the local kids go out there to party. I see people out there riding everytime I drive by on my way to the speedway, so you'll probably be ok, just be very careful. I'm not sure how much room there is out there now for camping, but again, I haven't been out there in about 12 years.

there is camping on the left(east) side of North Las Vegas Blvd. If I remember right its just off the big bend in the road. You should see some roads along the way. Nice views of the lights at night. I'd park at the main area and ride the quads and scope out an area. Sorry I can't give specifics been a while. I've also seen campers in the main parking lot.
