For whatever it is worth - I have been using this almost every day for about 6 months and have not had any performance problems. I have no idea what the difference might be.

This last week seems to have had a real spate of bad times here. I thought for a while my computer was fritzing out, or maybe my ISP (Yahoo) is circling the drain a little faster. I'm sorry everyone is having difficulty, but I'm a little relieved it's not just me!

Some of you folks harp about this site being FREE. The site is paid for by the advertisers and is free to the members.
However, what makes this site valuable is the knowledge of the posters and the willingness of the members to help each other out.
Without the posters this site would collapse and disappear in a very short time.
I too get frustrated when I work on a post and it goes off into cyber space cause of a malfunction of the site.
Further frustration is when a posting goes up and later disappears without any explaination from who ever removed it. It would seem only fair that who ever takes a posting down at least have the common courtesy to send a PM to the poster as to why a post is removed!

Thanks

Down today from 4:28pm to 8:00pm Pacific.
I have not been notified as to the cause yet.
It appears it was in all the portals.

I guess you were the only one to communicate with RV.net last night.

for some fun when this one is down try the new site at RVing outpost, they have a very new interactive site with a few members. I like it as they have different subjects and are very friendly

Comes back to the old saying "You get what you pay for". You pay nothing so don't expect much, don't get me wrong I love this forum but it is not very dependable. Awhile back I suggested maybe going to a subscription fee so as to have money for a better server, ect. Did't seem to go over real well. Ok, so "You get what you pay for".
