Congratulations!

I'm just the passenger, but I knew on the ride home (2 hrs from dealer) that I like the way the 5er felt over the TT.

Enjoy!

Congrats on the new 5er, you will also find its easier to hook up, just put a piece of white tape on the hitch and line it up and back right in. Also when I unhook, I measure the distance to ground before I level and then when I re hook I have the correct height. There are many easy ways of getting the hookup right. I would practice backing into a camping space in a parking lot or something, that is the only drawback as far as I'm concerned to a 5er. Jayco is a great rig, again congrats.

Hey! Congratulations on your new 5er. Great trailer, looked at that one when we got ours, should have got the Jayco, but we love the storage.
Now, go have fun making new memories with family and friends.
I pulled a 24' Aljo for 7-8 yrs., our 30' 5er pulls easier and lighter. Much more enjoyable to ride in the TV. Sure a lot easier to hook up and set up.
Enjoy, and good luck.

Well after 2 years of anticipation, my Jayco Eagle 345 BHS has finally arrived! I picked it up Sunday and I can not begin to explain the difference in towing from a TT. I have been following posts on fifth wheels, have gone to countless shows, and visited various dealers. After getting my feet wet and towing it home, I can say it's actually enjoyable to tow. Now all that's left is to start planning trips. Thanks for all the advise during my search, it was well worth the wait!

Hey YD. Congrats on the 345bhs. We've had ours for 2 weeks and can't wait to get out for our first trip.

Say.... did the dealer warn you about the city water fill? Apparently if you don't babysit that process, you can flood the bathroom through the plumging vent under bathroom sink.

Thanks for the positive responses. I didn't know about the fresh water fill - thanks, I'll make sure to keep an eye on it.
