Combo tub and grate as has been mentioned.

If you're handy and want to spend the time, you can certainly make your own wooden grate (larger than the $30 that you can purchase). Just sand well and seal it (and countersink and fill the screws) and you can have a custom-made floor grate. I would also make it more like a pallet than the grate --- easier on the feet.

There are also rubber pool decks that you can purchase pieces for. You would have to find a pool store for that. This is non-slip, waterproof pieces that people put over their pool deck areas. However, it's expensive.

We have an outdoor shower with 'cabana shelter' simular to this (Link to see Photo) with our PUP. The DH bought a small plastic grate for the floor for us to stand on. The water goes through the slits in it and then drains out....our feet are elevated just enough so we are not standing in water.

However, even if we did not have this grate to stand on...we just undress inside the PUP and wear a robe or pool-cover up to walk to the shower. Hang it up on the hook once inside the cabana...they will not get wet. Then dry off and put the robe or cover up back on. Then dress inside the PUP. No problem with our clothes getting wet since we dress inside the PUP.

Maybe you should just dress inside your PUP.

HAPPY CAMPING!!

We were at Home depot the other night and were looking at the shower floors..wow, I didn't realize how $$ they were. They ranged 90-129. Yikes!

Just get some of those heavy duty plastic-squares that interlock. They work great...that is what my

DH got. They are very inexpensive.

Sorry, I never thought to take a photo of them.(LOL)

My DH got them over at Home Depot. I am sure if you go over there...you can find some.

They are usually in with the anti-fatigue mats, I use mine as duel purpose, for the outside shower (the holes let the water drain) and in the winter I put them on my deck when it is icy

The pallets work well! We keep a dishpan of water at our entry for rinsing the feet before entry to the trailer. Sand/silt eventually settle to the bottom, and I dump, rinse and refill every 2 days or so. Cheap!

Word of caution: When it rains all night on a $20 shower tent (yes, I bought the cheap one), the five gallons of rain Collects on the flat roof.

EEEEK! Pity the poor person who is first to use the loo that is housed inside for night time bathroom breaks.

I got drenched when the shower tent roof sprung a leak (no pun intended). But it was very funny.
