Why all the fuss about TP? Don't we all just use it once and throw it away?

I remember living on the farm in Iowa as a boy working the fields with dad. When the urge came around large leaves where the choice... ok,, sorry.
But seriously,, I alway read ( just use enough water). well just what is enough water each flush. If any old paper will work it seems that the study should be on how much water each flush, not what TP.
Is it 1 gal,, 2 ?

Yeah, the kids pull off 10 feet, but with the Scotts, who cares. Any other brand and the roll would be half empty.

I thought we were supposed to keep the used TP in a bag next to the toilet.

IMHO old telephone books work better than Sears catalogue. Crumple up better than those glossy slick picture pages. As best i can remember from my youth at grandma's.

I appreciate your efforts to endorse Scotts TP. Those kind folks send me a few bucks each and every month. the more you buy, the more I get.

I've been using Scotts at home (septic system) for 30 years or so, and use it in my PUP with no problems. When I was tent camping and had the porta potty, had bought the special paper at first, but, started carrying the Scotts and never noticed any difference. The Scotts seems to last much longer (I'm not replacing the roll every 3 days) than other brands. Tried the Charmin at home and it was rather pricey as I was replacing rolls every 3 days, and the kids clogged the toilet with it once (all it took) so I went back to the Scotts.
