Where else in the world could we have a forum to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various brands of toilet paper, how well they perform and to even have a reputable research institute perform scientific tests to determine which brands break down the best????

I LOVE AMERICA!!!!

I was having trouble keeping my eyes open until I read this discussion. Now my eyes are open and weeping from laughing so hard. Thanx.

I read that Costco TP worked well, so I tried puttng a piece (unused) into a jug of water to conduct a controlled experiment, i.e. to see if it would dissolve, and...EUREKA.. it did. So it's Costco for us from now on.

Only Scott for me. Not the new stuff, the old standby stuff with the "Safe for Septic and RV. I've used Charmin for years but my plumbing bill was getting astronomical at home because I have eight kids and they kept using more and more tissue paper and clogging the mainline pipe every week or so. The plumber stopped guaranteeing their rotor work. Finally read an article here about a year ago, switched to the Scott tissue and no more plumbing problems, and its been over a year.
