Thanks for everyones input. We are just frustrated because we have had this laredo for 1 year now, we had a laredo travel trailer prior to this and it never gave us any trouble. We like to run the fridge and water heater on electric, and we are in florida so we obviously almost always use a/c. I just feel we should be able to run all of these things together, and use an elecrical outlet if we want some toast or something else for that matter. Could it be something wrong with our rig?? Shouldn't we be able to use these all?? Anyone had luck getting a complimentary upgrade to 50 amp from Keystone??
When we had our Laredo we had same problem we just turned off the water heater for the time being while using the toaster or hair dryer.I highly doubt Keystone will do anything for you.They will give you a answer like that what that trailer was built with and so on.Thats why our new rig has 50amp.
"Complimentary upgrade?" Maybe before initial purchase. After the fact, I can't see it. It is non-trivial to rewire from 30 to 50. It can be done, but it's bit involved, especially if you include wiring for a second a/c.
It's a fact of life that campgrounds tend to have power issues. Old posts, old wiring, overstretched resources. And start up current is nothing to ignore. Where I keep my trailer and do most of my camping, it's all 30 amp. And we just get accustomed to turning off the a/c while microwaving. Strangely, we never seem to forget to turn it back on!
I used a line conditioner with my old trailer to boost the voltage. I'll continue the practice with my new trailer.

No Upgrade when we asked about the problem they said to run the water heater or Fridge on propane~~They make all the smaller units 30 amp we upgraded our 5er to 37 ft with 50 amp~~~Sandy

That is the reason I had for my number one requirement on our new 5er, to have a 50 amp service. Never had a problem on anything in the trailer over pulling an on board breaker. Now a park breaker is another story. However, when I had my motorhome, and the 30 amp service it had, I used the water heater and refer on propane when I needed to be using the AC, and had no problems. The refer especially uses very little propane, and the water heater only a little more, and if you turn it off when you're not needing it, it will hold the heat fine for say washing the dishes or something like that. I usually would get up in the morning turn on the water heater, go back to bed an snooze a bit until I heard it shut off, and then get up and take my shower. Ahhh, the camping life. Now with our new 50amp trailer, I just leaving everything on electric unless I have no electric, or I'm on a 30 amp site service, and then I have to manage things again, and it's sort of like the old days.

To those few that have stated that they have run AC, coffee maker, water heater and microwave at the same time while not popping a breaker, it most likely is because all of the loads were not operating at the same time YET.
A 30 amp breaker will simply not run all of the above at once if the AC compressor, microwave magnatron and water heater electric element all happen to power on at once.

Another thing to add that many may not be aware of is a 30 amp trailer is a 120v supply while a 50amp is 240volt, additionally the 50amp is actually 50 amps to each leg of the bus, essentially making it 100amps to the trailer.

Keep in mind, it is unusual for an RV to have a 240v appliance. The 50 amp service is best viewed as two 120v circuits. However, some motorhomes have 240v appliances.
