I have a Dell computer with the Vista operating system and am not able to get the Verizon Broadband to work with this system.
Anyone had similar problems or know of a solution?
The system states that it is connected but will not bring up a web site.

I have a HP with Vista and use DSL with no problem. I have to admit that I'm not terribly impressed with Vista, though.

I run Vista Home Premium on my HP laptop and use a Verizon USB720 for internet access. No problem at all.

I am successfully using the Verizon air card on a Vista equiped Dell.

Double click on your desktop's "VZAccess Manager" icon; the VZAccess Manager window should display what's available.

If there is a signal in your area the indicator will display one to five bars of strength (green bars).

Double click on the Blue bar, there should be a sequence of initializing etc. then a statement that you are connected.

Somewhere on your desktop there should be an internet browser icon; double click on it and you're online.

Currently we're in an area that has no Broadband; therefore, it selected and actuated National Access - MUCH slower.

My Vista ran Verizon with a USB720 with the original XP software. If you go to the Verizon site, there is a new software for Vista and the card or USB card you use.
And yes, I do hate Vista, XP was soooooo much easier and simpler.
