We have a 2005 Itasca Meridian and we love it. 20,000 miles and not one problem. We are in need of a bunk floor plan and they only offer in entry level gas. I even trid to get Winnebago to build a bunk Meridian but no way. So now we are ordering a new Newmar.

We love our 2005 Itasca Meridian. There have been very few issues, all of which were solved by our dealer. We looked at many manufacturers before purchasing this one, but were impressed by Winnebago's well thought-out design. There are a lot of little touches that other motorhomes at this price point didn't seem to have.

My first DP was a winnebago Journey. Owned it for just under 2 years and had very good luck with the quality of the coach and the way it performed. We liked it so much that we moved up to a Vectra last year because we wanted 4 slides, IFS and all the bells and whistles that come with Winnie's top of the line coach. We've taken 2 long trips and put on over 9000 miles this last year and still love the performance and the floorplan.
Winnie stands behind their products very well and I won't hesitate to make it 3 Winnie's when the time comes.
You do gat ALOT of bang for the buck when compared to other coach lines.

Our 2004 Itasca Meridian has over 26,000 miles on it with very few problems compared to others I have read about on this forum. The dealership repaired a few items within the warranty period but they were minor. The Cat engine performs flawlessly and the Freightliner chassis has been relatively trouble-free. I have been through the Winnebago factory in Forest City, IA and was thoroughly impressed. I would buy another Winnebago product without hesitation.

We Have a 2007 Itaska suncruiser 38J and love it, the floor plan is great and the power is very good (passed a few DP's) on a few nasty hills in Oregon all and all the DP 400HP is probaly a better rig but at what cost, Remember HP is Related to how deep the pockets are. We have about 13,000 miles on ours and the only problem has been the Hyd. lines and HWH corp was excellent in their Warranty reimbursment. Hope this helps. "MIC"

Thanks again to everyone for your comments. The endorsement of Winnebago/Itasca seems to be resounding.

Just got a new 40' Winnie Tour to replace our 36' Meridian. Both coaches exhibit excellent quality -- stuff just works well.
Good luck

I have a 2004 Adventurer at 25,000 miles. I have had less quality problems ( none major) than my last two new cars!!!!

2007 Meridian here. Even though I've had my share of problems, the dealer and Winnebago have took care of most problems. I've even had good luck with Freightliner standing behind certain problems. I'd recommend Winnebago.

Bill, I own a 2004 Adventurer 35-U it's one of Winnebago unique floor plans that it has a complete bathroom all in one room. My first major problem arrived two months ago at 13,000 miles. The bedroom slide out seal went out soaking the bedroom carpet after a rain storm. I just happen to find it when I did one of my coach checks. I had to pull up the carpet and have it dried along with drying the floor, and it cost me $995.00 plus tax to have the repair made and I wasn't happy about it. This is our second Winnebago that we purchased and hopefully our last big problem. John
