My daughter will be 3 in a few weeks. All she talks about it our camper and begging us to go camping. She has a photo book that she carries around with camping photos of last season. Any gift ideas for a little girl who can't wait to go camping? I feel for the kid. We live in WI and the weather has been terrible since Dec 1. It is the middle of April and is cold and raining!

If the weather is too bad to go out camping, take her
to the parked camper and pretend you are camping, i bet
she would really enjoy this...
For her birthday, buy her something related to camping,
let her take her baby doll camping when you are pretending
.Teach her all the pros and cons, such as
how far she can get from the camper etc...She will enjoy this
and I bet you will get lots of laughs....gardening gurl

A "camping" game? Perhaps the ring toss that has wooden pegs & rope rings? Or her very own small folding camping chair? Or a story book about camping? Check out RVbookstore.com - they may have something suitable. Or a book about somewhere you plan to go this summer? A special hat for camping (and sun protection but she doesn't need to know that!)? Just about anything she can use camping that is especially hers alone.
See ya' down the road!

I'd get her a new diesel pusher. That way she is happy and so are you.
Maybe try a night of driveway camping if you can't get away just yet.

Get her one of those flashlights that have a crank and never need batteries. I use this gift frequently for kids and they are never disappointed.

How about some glo sticks. I second the idea of outside games or toys.

Thanks for all the GREAT ideas! I just had her outside to play (it's 39 out- quite warm) and she was quite the explorer! Just tried to run into the street to get the dogs ball- heart attack!! (Thank God my 8 year old caught her at the end of the driveway). I think the outside toys would keep her busy and the idea of filling the backpack is a great idea. She needs a backpack for traveling.
