Very Nice. I'm also in the process of changing the front TV. The old CRT was toooooo big and heeeeaaaavy and quit. I got the biggest I could find that fit vertically, 26" and am trying to figure out how to trim it out.

Heat....Put the outdoor sensor for an indoor/outdoor thermometer on top of the TV, in the airflow inside and turn it on for a couple of hours. Park in the sun. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I decided to upgrade my front TV for several reasons. Comments welcome. It was a fun project. I got most of my ideas here.

Was the fear of being crushed to death while driving one of them?

I've got that same model tube TV at home and it took 2 of us to carry it down to the basement and it's stayed there ever since.

"Nice Job!!!! We have the same setup with the original Sony as you had before your upgrade. This same box area with the Sony up front is pretty standard for Newmar. I have looked at several different types of front end Newmar TV changeouts/upgrades done by owners to change out the Sony and tried to take ideas from them and I really like yours. I will send you a PM inquiring about the exact TV you installed. "

No problem. I like the Idea of one poster about putting a thermostat in there to see how hot it gets. I just happen to have one sitting around. I will measure it after two hours of running.

The exact TV I got was the Samsung LN26A450 26 inch HDTV LCD.
