IMPORTANT ISSUE FOR FREIGHTLINER CHASSIS COACHES:

Please check this air line brake issue if you have a Freightliner chassis manufactured prior to November 2005. This is now a recall.

Thanks from me as well.

My chassis would be in that group. Going to change the fluids this weekend and will check that out.

Thanks for the post! Between the pictures and the explanation it was easy for even me to quickly identify the exact location to check! I hadn't noticed any problems on earlier inspections and fortunately still don't have any issues. My air hoses have quite a bit of space between them and can't chafe in the manner described.

I'd recommend everyone make a quick inspection.

Thanks for the post. My chassis was made in March of 2005 and has normal safe hose separation.
