It would be interesting to hear how many folks use
Chinese mfg (LT) tires on their Tow Vehicles?
~
IMO - wouldn't mind on my auto (car) - but no thanks on
trailer or Truck.

Don't walk, run from anything with the last name of king kang or wang. Nankang, Chun Kang, or any other junk from the country that will own us and our country soon at the rate we are giving it away. Their tires are TRASH !!! I wouldn't tow a Red Flyer wagon down the street with that junk on them.

several years ago we had the same type stories of shredded ST tires especially during towing seasons. This was before China made tires. The problem isn't just with wang/bang/bam/or other foreign made China bombs but is the tire itself. A ST tire is what it is which is a short term/low cost/cheap tire and the tire has had problems with weight/speed even when all tire were bias ply. Thats one reason our domestic tire manufactors stopped production of their ST lines. Some did so many years ago with recommendations to their dealers that current LT tires and later where weight wasn't a issue, a P metric 44 psi tire. ST tires has their supporteres just as Carlisle has its supporters. Tire performance speaks for itself and ST tires has always had lots of problems even on this web and before this web.

The only ST tire we've NEVER had a problem with is the Goodyear G614 RST. It is made specifically for trailers, however, the sidewall structure is twice as thick and strong as any other ST tire that we've seen in the G load range.
As for E load; never have seen a well made ST tire. If I was using E load it would be Michelin XPS LT tires. Their sidewalls look as strong and thick as the Goodyear G614...never had a problem with them either when we used that size tire.
