I use the Equalizer and I am very satisfied with it. Go to www.Equalizer.com and read about it.

Richard Tate since you have used both
please let us know why you like the dual-cam over the equalizer.

Thanks Pete

Note that the dual-cam is sold under three brand labels, Reese, Draw-tite, and Hidden Hitch. Same ownership, same item. Buy where you get the best service and price.

I'm free of prostate cancer for 5 years now.
All men over age 50 should get an annual PSA blood test. Mine had a low reading, but the yearly jump was significant. The biopsy showed cancer just entering the aggressive stage. Dr. Hackenslash removed it.

I choose the Equal-i-zer because it looked the easiest to use. I was very satisfied by the performance of the hitch, it was so easy to hook up my wife could do it, and customer support from Progress Manufacturing was excellent.

The Reese Pro Series SC is just like the Equalizer but has friction pads. $330 at etrailer.com free shipping.

Not really! The Equal-i-zer gets most of its sway control from the WD bar socket interface with the hitch head plus the friction between the WD bars and the L brackets.

The Reese Pro Series has just the brackets at the end of the WD bars and that is where most or all of the sway control comes from. The contact points at the hitch head are the same as the normal trunnion setup and have very little friction - hence little sway control at that point.

I am not saying that the Reese unit is not effective but it certainly is not the same as the Equal-i-zer, although they do look similar.
