Hi,
My leather captain chairs are beginning to show their age, and I don't like the leather when I'm wearing shorts on a hot day. I'm forever sitting on a towel that ends up bunching. I would consider using a seat cover of some sort. Do you have a seat cover? Do you like it? What fabric is it? Where did you get it? Thanks, for any and all suggestions. Kathy

We bought sheepskin covers from Costco. Took a little doing to get them on but they are very comfortable.

Purchased some really nice sheepskin covers in Quartzite this winter. They fit very nice. Sure nice to sit on.

You might be surprised at just how inexpensive it might be to have your seats re-upholstered at a local upholstery shop. That way you choose the exact fabric you want. Last ones I had done, in a very nice fabric, cost about $150 each. You will spend close to that and maybe even more for a top quality sheepskin cover, and then you still just have a seat cover. Might be worth looking into.

I agree with the posts on sheep skins if you can find the right size.

Hi..We use large terry cloth bath sheets. Three of these towels will cover two capt. chairs nicely. They are easy to wash too. lenOrge

We use hand quilted quilts, one for each leather front seat that covers the whole seat and one for the leather recliner also have one for the leather couch.
