I have a Rockwood 2602 and I have a question about the water system. If I hook up to the city water connection, does it fill the fresh water tank or does it bypass it?

I want to make sure when Im at a campground hooked up to city water that I'm not taking on an extra 25 gallons of fresh water in the Potable tank and not know it.

Thanks!

I don't know about your exact TT, but there are usually two seperate places to put water, one labeled "City Water" that your hose can screw onto and that other being a hole without a threaded connector that you use to fill the fresh water tank. If this is the case, the city water will not reach your fresh water tank. There is a check valve that prevents that from happening.

It bypasses that freshwater tank.

I have a 2602. The city water hookup is on back of tt. The fresh water fill up is on left side @ rear. The two do not connect.
