We put the Denman's on our trailer this year. We made it 4 years and who knows how many miles with the General AmeriTrailer tires with no problems. We couldn't afford to upgrade to the 16" wheels this time around so I did research and really liked what I found about the Denman 225/75-15 E load range (2830lbs) at max 80psi. We shall see how these do.....
I have an 06 Raptor 3814, and all six of my Carlisle D's delaminated on the way back from Utah last September... not all at once, but before I got back to Reno, I had six brand new tires.
Unfortunately, the only "better" tire I could get was also Carlisle... at leats they're E-rated radials.
I'm thinking of selling off these wheels/tires on Craigslist or something and going with the XPS Ribs on 16's. Just have to make sure I have the $$.
I have first hand experience that no matter what E rated tire you put on the first thing to go is a metal/ rubber valve stem. When this happens the tire will loose air and then disentigrate from the inside out.
ALWAYS RUN THE FULL METAL VALVE STEMS!!!!
