For the life of me, I can't understand why Bargman, the largest supplier of lights to the RV industry doesn't make a replacement LED fixture that uses the same footprint of their most common tail light.
Although the model 84 has the LED replacement lens assembly, which is cool, but there's far more RVs using the other styles than the model 84.

If I can find some that look and fit like my original tail lights I will buy them. The originals are quite dim to say the least.
We seldom travel at night but I would like other motorists to at least see me and know when we're stopping.

I think I have looked at almost every bargman light and I aggree they make hundreds of different lights for all these different Trailers and not one that is a direct replacement for a very popular light!

Bargman does make a replacement. Check out the link for surface mount and they are larger than 4x6. Once the link is open you need to go to page 14 (numbering at bottom of page or advance 3 pdf pages). They are 10-1/4" x 7-1/4" (# 47-84-610 or 47-84-611).

Two problems with those: 1. no license plate holder or light 2. no reflector, unless you get the one with the back up light.

I have an older trailer and found it necessary to change the lights as they were no longer reliable.
Since I could no longer find a unit that fit the cutout, I made my own aluminum plate and put the LED ovals in it.
What a difference!!!!

Not understanding why you would want or need a reflector with LEDs? Properly designed LED tailights neither use or need a reflector. Also, there are several companies out there that make license plate frame/holders with integrated LED lighting (put one on my enclosed trailer) and there are also tag bolts that have LEDs in them and oriented to wash the license plate. The bolts are made by DEI.

The reflector is for when the trailer is parked with no lights (might be required by DOT). You are right about the license plate holder.
The original question still stands, where are the direct replacement LED for this type of trailer light?

I went to the international dealer and got four four inch round led lights and cut them into the back of my trailer. I also put a plate holder and light on the back, then replaced all the clearence lights with led ones.
