I had that problem with my 2003 Lance 815 on my 2007 F-250. I put spacers on the front jacks to increase the space between the tie downs and the jacks, no more tight quarters.

Thanks.... You don't see stability problem with the spacers?

There's been no problem about a stable condition since I only added just enought spacers to clear the front tie downs. As the picture shows spacers are placed between the jack and the camper attachment.
I'd use two strips of 1/4 inch aliumum

These have been in place for several months
Paint damage before spacer were in place

Ohhh I like that a lot! I think this is better than changing the COG. Thanks for the picture!

I think your tiedown anchor plate sticks out too far. I just measured and my mounts stick out only 1.75 inches. I've had no problems with any interference with turnbuckles or jacks. Can you move it in? Check the install instructions:

Me too. Again thanks for the pics. I just happen to have the materials so I'll be addressing this problem this weekend. Just for grins, I think I'll do all four corners so the footprint will be the same all the way around.

Probably could as they are out pretty far. According to the instructions, this means drilling a total of 8 more holes in the support bar and wall of the box. Rather than doing more holes, I think going for 1/4" relief on either side is more attractive.

I can thank you enough everyone for all your help here!

I just went out & checked the jacks on my camper. They are at least 2 inches out from the happijac. I guess that 815 is just so narrow that you are going to need a spacer somewhere to either move the camper toward the rear or to move the jacks forward. Good Luck.
