I probably wouldn't either, but higher aero drag doesn't cause just lower mileage. Lower mileage implies higher required power from the engine, and a sufficiently slippery design could reduce the power requirements on the tow vehicle enough to make a difference in the TV's selection. As I recall, the great majority of towing force required at highway cruise speed is aerodynamic drag (not including hill climbing).
