I installed Hankook tires on a previous truck, and they made quite a difference in the handling (better). They did not wear as well, however with a "B", you will probably have to replace them because of age before tread wear is a problem anyway.

If you review the posts listed that 2oldman posted you'll see my recent experience with Hankooks. I had a blow out for no reason with properly inflated tires that had low miles on them. I've switched to Michelin RIB's and have a much better ride. I realize a blowout can happen with most any tire but you asked for recent experiences. (ps the blowout caused over $4,000 worth of damage to my B.

When the company I work for purchased four new 2006 Ford E350 vans in late 2005 they came with Hankook tires from the factory. We usually run Michelin Tires as replacements and have had very good luck with them. I did not have high hopes for the Hankooks to be honest but they lasted at least 160,000 km, mind you these were USA produced tires but they wore nice and did not have any balance issues other brands we had used before. If the price is right I do not see why they would be a bad choice.

My 07 PW Excel had Hankook tires; I replaced them at 2000 miles with Toyo tires. The van handles better and runs much quieter.

“B”ing there is half the fun.
