I am considering installing an exhaust brake ("D-CELERATOR" Brand) on my 2007 2500 CTD 4x4 4Spd auto. I would appreciate any input regarding this unit and opinions from those of you using other makes.

I would lean toward the Cummins/Mopar or Jacobs exhaust brakes because the factory ECU is calibrated to optimize torque-converter lockup with these units.
But I don't have any experience with any of the units so I can't tell you if one performs better or worse than others...my opinion is only based on the design of the units and the OEM/Dodge approval that the Jacobs and Mopar part carry. Plus it's covered by the factory warranty if the dealer installs it.
I've read good things about the Pac Brake but have never heard of the one you are talking aobut.

I don't know about others but the PacBrake uses the trucks computer too and the Pac's compressor has far fewer problems than the Dodge/Jake vacuum pump.
Whatever brake you buy you wont be sorry!

I have the Jacobs EB on my '03 since new with zero problems. You will get a Dodge warranty with the Jacobs exhaust brake only. If a warranty is not a issue with you I would suggest the Pacbrake PRXB or a BD exhaust brake. All three are top of the line quality.

Best investment you will ever make to go along with the Cummins.

The D-CELERATOR does not require engine mods (valve springs). What about the other makes?

neither does any of the other EB brands. Cummins added 60 lb valve springs back in the early '90s for EB usage. The major EB for the 5.9 Cummins will put out 180 hp for braking. Will the de-celerator ?? You need to spend some net time researching the different brands and their braking performance (HP).

Check this out: http://www.pacbrake.com/uploads/Ford%20Auto%20Guide.pdf
It is available from PacBrake for about $1700, you should be able to shop around and find it for less.
