I will be hitting the road for my second trip with our new TT this weekend and I want to grill this time. I have the outside flip down stove top with the lp line that hooks to a fitting below the trailer. Here is the question... Does anyone know where I can get a line that plugs into that disconnect that will go to my portable lp grill? The ones that usually take the little lp bottles. Please let me know... Thanks

The grill that take the little LP canister work off of high pressure, that quick connect under your trailer is a low pressure line. Those type of portable grill need to hook up at your RV tanks before the regulator or you need to carry a carry a spare propane tank and hook it up that way. You can get a short hose to hook it to the grill at Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart or any place that sells the portable grills
Hope that helps

just picked 1 up at CW. got the 12' so i can tap into my 30#'s and not be cooking right on top of them. was like $33 or there abouts but figure it'll pay for itself fairly quickly. used to run out to eat alot but figureing on staying put and cooking more(can't wait to try my new roadtrip limited edition grill). should save $$ on gas and food
keep 2 of the small bottles just in case though.

Extend a flow. This is what I use with my roadtrip grill and propane stove. It comes with the adapter that connects between the regulator and bottle and a 12 foot hose. this way the camper still has use of the bottle if needed. I use a splitter off of the 12 foot hose to two 4 foot hose to my grill and stove

You will have to take the regulator off of your portable grill, in order for that to work. The LP line on the Outback is a low-pressure line.

good luck!

I removed the regulator off of my weber Q grill so I could hook into the lp port. You will still need a flame control valve between the regulator and the burner. Some grills rely on the valve on top of the portable bottle to control flame height. Make sure you have a way to control flame height if you remove the regulator. Depending on the connector, you should be able to get a compatible hose at RV dealer or home depot. Some campers have an RV style quick disconnect while others have a home style quick disconnect.
