They are not staying in it full time, just wanting to give our Wounded Warriors a chance to get away from some of their problems and feel like a human again. Anyone who has ever lived in any kind of barracks understands how much of a morale builder it is to get away from them, if only for a few days.
I was just putting the info out there... I like the idea of giving the guys/gals a way to relax and get off base, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying... think of the news headlines... "Now after being wounded in Iraq, the Marines have been sent to stay in toxic trailers." I would not be shocked to read that in the NYTimes.

First off thanks to all who replied, . Camber thanks for your concerns but I think we can handle the concerns of those that are pushing the so called problems associated with the FEMA chaos (funny none of our full timer friends are having those problems).
Thanks for the links, I had a few for motor homes but we really want to try and set up a trailer. I like the toy hauler idea and I’m sure we can come up with a system to open and close the ramp. What ever we do I’ll try and post it for all. For you older Vets…the way we are treating our warriors today is off the charts better than in the past. Sure we still have a way to go but I can say for the Marines anyway were trying, and I’m sure our sister services are as well. The Base has went as far as modifying a couple of base quarters to full ADA spec’s, and have made them available to them during recovery and while they decide what they want to do with their military options. It does ones heart good to see we have made it so a Mom can move down to take care of her Son or Daughter while the Father stays home and continues to support that side of the family and the aren’t trying to pay for two households. And like TSgt Tony said They are not staying in it full time, just wanting to give our Wounded Warriors a chance to get away from some of their problems and feel like a human again. Anyone who has ever lived in any kind of barracks understands how much of a morale builder it is to get away from them, if only for a few days.
By the way you can still sleep well tonight, it just sounds like we have gotten mushy, were still on duty
