has anyone had any good or bad dealings with the," warranty experts", they are supposed to be rated by ambest an A+ company. We are looking at them for an extended warranty on our coach. I heard so much negative about alot of these companies I thought I would ask for your help before I make any decisions. If anyone out there had a good experience with another company please let me know who that company is. To much can go wrong with these coaches. Thanks

I highly suggest that you do a search on this forum for "warranty experts".
I think you will find a good number of disappointed folks.

I would recommend take the funds that you would pay out for a warranty/insurance policy and 'self-insure' yourself.

The exclusions, loop-holes and weasel-out methods for most of these so called warranty/insurance operations is questionable at best.

When it comes to these it most definitely is caveat emptor

Last I heard, they were under investigation in Texas for fraud and theft of customers money. Take a good look at the San Antonio BBB report, where you will find they have an "F" rating for their customer problems.

Check all this out. A lot of this maybe here say. I believe, last I heard, Highly suggest comments does not answer your question. I will think you will also find good experiences with them too.

A lot of people get bitter because there claim was not paid or they tried to get something for nothing and it did not work out for them. I am not saying positive or negative about warrant experts, I am just saying just because it did not pay for someone's claim does not mean the company is no good.

A.M, Best is an insurance rating company that rates the financial ability of a company to pay claims. The ability to pay claims and the actual payment of claims are not related in any way. If you follow the general theme on these warranty or service companies you will find many more problems than happy customers. With all the negatives that are posted I sometimes wonder how they stay in business but I guess P.T. Barnum was right. Normal commission on these is around 50% so you can figure how much goes to profit and actual paying a claim. It is the commission that the dealers get that is the reason they push so hard to sell them.

As usual, I'm the lone ranger. I have had Warranty Experts for several years and they have come through for me on the three occasions I've had to use them. They have been prompt with their payments to the repair facility and have honored their committment to me.

CaFlyFisher provided the best advice! Put the money in an interest bearing account and pay the taxes on the interest. There are always a few that have gotten benefit from an extended warranty and some that need one for "peace of mind", but most posts indicate the ext. warranties are not worth buying.

Read ALL of the print and pay particular attention to the fine/small print and what is covered and NOT covered! Good luck.

Please read the fine print on extended warentee contracts. You will find that there are plenty of loopholes that they use. My father in law bought a extended warentee when he bought his MH out of 6 claims they paid one. Best bet is to put all the money in a interest bearing account and take youre chances. Thats what I did. Good LUck Chuck
