For those that have thought abt the new trucks with their high side
bed walls, I had to come up with my own solution. I've included some
pics....but first my 2007 Tundra has the high rails...and is a 6.5 ft
bed. My biggest thought was a slider...so I chose the PullRite 14K, which has the 14" slide. Since the rear axle to the cab of the truck was 37"...and half of the trailer is 48", I was getting worried, hence PullRite. The problem was how to raise the hitch plate up so as not to hit the bed rails. I lowered the king pin box 3", but was still not in the ballpark for clearance. So I had to take the yoke of the hitch assembly and calculate how to raise it at least 2.5" to accommodate the clearance problem. I have a local shop here that was able to accomplish what I had drawn up, yet maintain the strength and support that was there before, if not better. Unfortunately, PullRite was not to informative on what was needed on the newer trucks with the high rails. So not willing to wait for engineers to determine what was feasible, I completed the task within 24hrs and couldn't happier.

If anyone needs or wants to contact the shop that did my work PM me and I will provide the info. I left my drawings and specs at the shop to alleviate the middleman so to speak.

Sorry all....was out of town..just got back..
The hitch is 14K and slides 14 inches, which clears the
short bed that I have (6.5).

This is the 310SRX Cougar and has a side load for your motorcycle,
4Wheeler or golf cart. I have the Harley....and when I can't drive
that any longer....then the golf cart will appear.. hi hi
