Hey everyone... just following up on a past post regarding Otter Lake Camp Resort. Wanted to see if anyone had any pictures they can send to me (or post) of the resort. We're staying in a lake front spot so i'd definitely love to see what they look like if anyone has them. Thanks so much!!

Also, any opinions about the place is wonderful too!

Hey RVin NJ,
We just took our maiden voyage there 2 weeks ago in our 2008 Jayco 23B. We had site LV6 which is one in the first small loop. I do have pics of the lake and the site. email is kimberlyhayes_at_rcn_dot_com. I can send you a few. We had a great time there. People were nice, and the entire place was very clean.

We were just there this past weekend also for our maiden voyage with the new camper. It was out first time there and we liked it very much. I thought the lake front sites were very nice and bigger that I thought they would be since I had heard they were kind of on the small side. What site are you staying in? The trip up the 7 mile mountain to get to the campground was very pretty also.

WE stayed at Otter Lake for Thanksgiving last year, with a lakefront site across from the beach/playground area. It was a lovely campground, but that time of year the lake view site was COLD! Summer I'm sure would be better. Our site would have had quite a bit of traffic and kids right in front because of the beach area and playground.

Thank you all for responding, and esp. for the pictures! I truly appreciate all of your feedback! We're really looking forward to going because of all of you!! Less than 2 months to go!

PS... how did you guys find the facilities? Were they clean and well maintained? I saw all the major campground rating sites gave this one "5 stars", does the campground live up to this rating?

I'm assuming you're talking about Otter Lake in the Poconos? We spent a weekend there this past November. Being off season there weren't any activites but the indoor pool was open so we spent most of our time there. The CG was beautiful, even though it was the gray days of late fall. I was hoping to get back there this Aug but its not going to happen as we're trying some new places out in between my crazy schedule.

I was wondering the same thing? And if anyone had anymore pics? I remember going to Otter Lake as a child... now I'd like to take my family here...

We stayed at Otter Lake last year in our Pop Up. Site was a pull through on gravel, very level. The campground was great - lots of fishing, activities. We were never bored and our son had a blast fishing the whole week. Even on a rainy day, able to use the indoor pool. We were on Road C near a bathhouse and close to the main building (but not too close). I will say, this bathhouse did get grungy as the day wore on. However, there were others in less congested areas that were very clean. Attached link has some pictures of the campground. Enjoy if you go!
