Thank you all so much for your advice! We loved Otter Lake and can't wait to go back!! We LOVED the lake front spot!! We'd wake up in the morning and go outside (still in our PJ's!) and go fishing! We caught some really nice bass right along the shoreline! The facilities were very clean and it was so peaceful. We tried to book it again the end of August, but everything is filled up!! We're looking forward to going back! Thanks again for all your help!!!!!!

That's what spot we stayed in too Cenley!!! It was a great spot, especially for fishing!! I'd be happy in anyone of those LF's to be honest! We went in early June, right before the crowds came in. It was so nice & peaceful. There was NO ONE anywhere near us the whole week. It was a very clean place, that bird they have got annoying after awhile but that was my only complaint!! haha!! I'd definitely go back there again!

something i noticed on the Otter website:
Quote: Spring and fall reservations are accepted for 2 or more nights with a $50.00 deposit, except for Memorial Day and Columbus Day weekends they are reserved for 3 nights and require a $70.00 deposit. All non-lakefront advance summer reservations (June 25 to September 1) are accepted for a minimum of 5 nights and require a $100.00 deposit. There is a 7 night minimum for all Lakefront campsites from June 22 to September 1
So...during the summer...you CANT go in just for a weekend???

No you can't just go for a weekend. I tried many times last summer and never got in. They had told us if we call last minute and they happen to have a site then they will book it for the weekend but that never happened. That is the only campground I know of like that.
