Al is already a millionaire. He's just bored with all his money so he comes slumming here.

Isn't that right Al??

Actually, it's more like a "thousand-aire". Some months slipping close to "hundred-aire" status.

But, we have fun.

Saw a guy last year dumping at the Dump Station at Doheny. He had some sort of waste grinder on his RV that the grey and black water is connected to. He turns the thing on while he's dumping and it grinds everything small enough to be dumped from a garden hose. Really fast to. Maybe that would solve the filter clog issue.

Yep that what it was. A Macertor. Thanks Strabo. Sounds like a good title for a horrow flick. "The Macerator". I agree with you on Al. Maybe he should have his own title thread. Al's Mod's

Speaking of Macerators has anyone tried one of the portable ones. Flojet Model 1855-000DC at flojet.com. I just found it on the internet. Says it can dump 30 gal in 3 minutes and it just twists onto the dump pipe just like the hoses. Comes with a 6' cord and seperate on/off hand held switch. You hook up a 5/8 hose to it and then to where ever you dump it to. Better for distances to supposedly. I would have about 50' to my clean out with a small incline uphill. Maybe????????/

Just drain the water on good soil.

it's not rocket science, the "particles" are fertilizer.

Why is this such a hard concept to accept???

You do more damage when washing your car/truck/house/RV and the water soaks in.

This is an interesting idea. Does anyone know of someone that makes a kit like this that's on the market. Has me thinking about a new product for the market.

Would be neat to see a product that takes your gray water, filters it and puts it back into a separate tank to reuse for flushing your toilet.

.... Has got me thinking?

Yep! Had one for a couple of years now. It's paid for itself many times over. I no longer need to sit in line, at a dump station, and no longer need to pay the exorbitant $$, some of the operators rip us off for. It really does pump about 30 gallons in 3 minutes, give or take a little, and it works best w/ a 7/8" industrial hose. Do a search here on the forum by typing "mascerator pump". There have been many threads about them.

Al/Reeni, have you considered a sediment filter, something like the fuel/water separator found on diesel trucks? You know, the ones w/ a glass sight bowl, so you can see how much junk is in them? Just a thought.

See ya out there!!
