I don't care. The rig has a good furnace and I carry chains in the 4x4. If the road socks in, I stay where I am at the time until it clears. I am still heading north on May 2nd.

I hope this clears away in the next month when I visit, then I will have the opportunity to drink the ice wine!

Be happy you're not in drought stricken area. I hear Las Vegas will run out of water in a few more years, then where will they go? Canada, eh -

Quiet they might hear you and move here, unless of course they don't want to pay an arm and a leg for gas, by the time they hit the first gas station in BC they'll turn back.

Actually, we are leaving sunny California until the 20th with a three or four day stop-off in SLC to visit daughter. I suspect that we probably won't hit Calgary until around the 1st of June (or there abouts). We were in Calgary two years ago in mid-June and it was beautiful. Stayed until after the stampede.

See ya

Ron

Yes, I know we see the unfortunate weather situation everyday on the news here in Ontario. We're just having amazing weather. We've had sunny weather in the lower 20s/70s for the last almost 2 weeks. I hope your weather doesn't blow this way.
