Aside from a flatbed with a tent on it, the best overall deal you can get is from Carson trailers. They are cheap, well constructed, and they will pretty much make it as basic or loaded as you'd like to a point. I've seen them do timely warranty work for customers and take care of problems.
Dont expect 4-5 star accomodations, and be prepared for depreciation on par with used hand grenades, but the units work. I had one, and can reccomend them.

granite wrote: Frankly, I agree with reality will soon set in. I just bought a used tv from a young person who had worked at the dealership she bought the tv from, a what she thought was a great rate. Thru circumstances, she had to sell it and add her own savings funds to what I paid her for it to finally pay it off. It was worth it to her to get out from under the huge monthly payments.
IMO I wonder if we are missing the boat in not educating our youngsters properly about the reality of buying on time. At the same time, maybe many of us need some updating on handling our financial affairs better?
Now about the cheap fiver-try the lower, lighter forest river lines?
A really old used up one, the one somebody shows you 2 weeks after buying your current unit, The one the manufacture is not making anymore, The one where the manufacture has went out of business, the one the dealer down the road from you is sell at a 32% discount and you only got 25% from your dealer in another state, the one the bank repo'd and wants it off their lot....
loaded question.... loaded answers. grin
Coachman Blast series, I looked at them not expecting much and boy was I right. It has everything you would need but the quality is pretty bad, looks like a 5th grader with ADD put them together inside. MSRP was not real cheap but I saw some smoking prices on Ebay and a few local RV shops for them, I passed on them and went for the cheapest WW they make.

one of my idiot friend bought a toyhauler for way too much money, paid 40k for a bumper pull 30 footer.. i paid 26k for my same size trailer i custom ordered which was a rampage... i just sold mine and upgraded to a 5th wheel i got for less then he paid for his WW, even though my trailer i ordered with every option. his WW is now up for sale, its 1 year old, for 15k less then he paid for it... so if you dont do any reasearch... your in trouble
