This summer we're making a major trip to the east coast, but I don't want to use the motorhome past the midwest. Does anyone know of an RV park anywhere between Chicago and Milwaukee that allows short-term (for less than 2 weeks) storage?

Not a lot of RV parks on the route between Chicago & Milwaukee. You might check with Fish Lake Beach in Volo, IL - they have a lot of seasonals and may allow some storage. You could also check with some of the RV dealers in the area, to see if they would store your rig for you. That will of course depend on how much space they have for the things they want/need to sell! Watch your PMs for more detailed info.

In Janesville you can rent large storage individual garages by the month. Inside and secure. I have my 28 ft motorhome with tow dolly attached in ohe so pretty good size and new larger ones nearly done. 200 a month. This may be more than you want but would be very safe and I suspect available as demand is more in winter. Janesville is on I 90 about hour and a half from Chicago and southwest of Milwaukee about one hr.

might want to check the state fair park campground in west allis, wisconsin. they have a storage area. your options between chicago and milwaukee are limited. as a last resort, call burlington RV. they have a huge secure area. who knows, for the right price they might be able to accomadate your needs.
