Hi,
We're looking for a place near Vancouver, BC for our 40 ft. Tiffin motorhome for a little more than a week. We're on a tight budget so the cheaper the better. We can boondock quite well so full hookups are not necessary. We plan to be there next week. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Coney & Carrol Oldenburg

We stayed at Fort Victoria.
It's fairly clean, & is the typical campground.
One option if you're coming or going on the Coho, is to stay at the ferry dock overnight. You have to check in for the next morning's sail before the last departure for the day. Then they'll let you park overnight.

Burnaby Cariboo RV Park is a good place to stay in Vancouver. I think Fort Victoria is on Vancouver Island.

Thanks for the suggestions. We need someplace for more than overnight. We will be there about a week. We're trying to find someplace that won't break the budget. We checked the Burnaby Cariboo place and it was just a bit too spendy for us. Too bad because the location would be perfect for us. So keep those suggestions coming. Hopefully we find something soon.

I need a bit more information before I can advise. Are you using the motorhome or are you wanting to leave it parked?

They appear to be looking for a place in Vancouver (the CITY) & you gave them info for a place on the ISLAND... DUH!

Take a look at www.pacificborderrvpark.com
This is usually where we stay when out that way.

I was asking about your plans because if you are only needing a night camp spot and are using thre motorhome during the day, I can give you a great location for a freebie boondocking spot that is unbeatable. It's in Burnaby, which is the next city over from Vancouver proper...they are adjoining communities.
