Well here's my two cents. We are running a Coleman Polar Cub, installed it myself by removing one of the roof vents, should work on a popup also. We run it off our Honda 2000I in econo mode. It will kick up to high speed when starting but then returns to normal. We have used the TV and lights but usually switch the refer over to gas. works fine for us. You might here a different story from people that camp at a much higher altitude. Good Luck Bob
