You know I haven't followed his blog, I asked some ?'s tonight on the Oliver forums and he pm'd his number and told me to call with any questions we might have. Just trying to figure out what will be best for us, and what options we would regret not getting, and what options we don't need at all. Seems like the outside shower is one we need to add to the don't need list. I will have to start reading his blog. See Ya there! Bella

The fantastic fan has many more blades that cover the total area of the fan exhaust which makes it move way more air than the regular air fans, and some like ours have rain sensors which automatically close the fan lid and turn off the fan.
Regarding the outside shower, I guess we are in the minority, as we use our outside shower all the time. I wash the dogs there (even when we're at home because it has warm water,) I clean the bar B Que grill there, fill buckets for washing the car or truck, drain the water tank fast with the pump, have a water fight with the wife, we wouldn't be without it.

If you ever camp on the beach, the outside shower is awesome!!! At least for us, no sand in the sheets!!

We are looking at ordering a new travel trailer and a outside wash station comes as a option, but I was wondering do you use yours, what do you use it for? I guess what I am wondering should I take the option of the outside wash station or not?

another option/upgrade is the Fantastic Fan, How fantastic is it? What is the difference over any other fan? It comes standard with a, I guess just a regular fan but has an upgrade for a fantastic fan. Please inform me......... Should we upgrade and why? Thanks RvBella

Since my trailer was a left over 2007 model, I didn't have a choice of some of the options it came with. One option I knew I would never use was the outside "dog shower". Also the connections for it in the bath sink storage area made using that space a nightmare. I simply removed the fittings and lines and converted the shower access into a storage area for my water regulator, spare hose gaskets, pliers for tightening water fittings when needed and a rag. Now everything is in one place and convenient. The 110V plug is just a pigtail that goes into the bath area and I though of using that for extra electrical access, but since making my dual 50A to 30A dogbone this will be removed in the near future since I really don't see me using or needing it.

The Jayco JayFeather 25F that we will pickup shortly has the outside shower station as standard equipment. Who knows if we will ever use it. We are going to replace the fan in the sleeping area with the Fantastic Fan with thermostat the day we pick up the trailer. The thermostat will automatically keep the temperature within reason when we are/are not in the trailer and not have to run the A/C.

We use the outside shower all the time. I wouldn't have a trailer without it. We special ordered our trailer and as they went down the list, we said add it. Tinted windows was another option we had added. I will put it this way, we added everything they had and the price was the same. They just threw everything in. We planned on keeping this trailer for a long time and we did. We still have it and I can say we are still very happy with it.

Get the fan upgrade - you won't regret that.

We have an outside shower. Problem is it's right by the entry door. Can't see soaking the awning mat so we don't use it. If it were on the opposite side of the trailer, maybe near the back corner, it would likely get used more often.

Good luck.
