We have stop driving the truck around town and for doing erands in and use the car that gets 30mpg. This saved us 150.00 in fuel this mo. This will allow us the extra $$ for the trips coming up, but we will be staying closer to home, Texas only.

We stopped driving the TV around town and such and drive the car most of the time that gets 30MPG. This saves us about 150.00 per mo in fuel cost. I will apply this savings to our travel expence this summer so it will even out, but we don't plan on leaving Texas this year..

I have a roundtrip mileage of 17 miles to go into town. Whenever possible, I ride the motorcycle. SUV gets 15 mpg = .238/mile ($4.05), motorcycle gets 45 mpg = $.079/mile ($1.34). Easy math and more fun. I feel like I'm helping to get even with the fuel thieves.
