You are correct, but my post was related to the Dome systems on RV's. The Dome systems that allow switching between 2 or 3 sats have to utilize the SWITCH 21 internal that the Dish receivers have. When you have a home type system that has the external Switch 21, the receiver must do the CHECK SWITCH to set up the INTERNAL Switch 21. If you do not do that, then your external will not function.
