I got a set of "The Eliminator" strut stabilizers for our 5er and put them to the test last weekend in the wind in the CA desert. These things are killer! I think the wind was blowing 25-35 MPH during the night and the trailer didn't move an inch. My Brother-in-law has a trailer similar to mine and couldn't believe the difference either, I think he's putting a set on this week. The kit is $300.00 at CW. The instructions are a bit fuzzy and it took me two evenings to get them on, probably 3 hours total elapsed time. If you camp in the wind, like the desert, dunes or Pismo, these are money well spent. Not sure how they will do in the sand but I suppose if you set the landing gear on blocks they should be O.K. since they use the existing pads as anchor points.

I always thought those looked like a good idea when we had our Raptor, nice endorsement!

I installed a set a month ago and highly recommend them myself. Well worth the $$. And yeah, the instruction leave something to be desired!

They look the same, was thinking of the Hanscom system, should serve the same purpose.

I have the Bal Lock-Arms, they work great as well. I ordered them off e-bay, cheaper than the eliminator system and I could only use 4 of them. I only wish I had thought of them.

I just installed a set of the eliminators from cw last night and I already believe its the best upgrade I have done to the trailer so far. I went to a dealer that had the JT strongarm's mounted on a trailer and it is the exact same parts as the eliminator, same color parts and everything, they wanted $400 for the JT's. I don't know who is cheating who but the parts look like they came from the same place?

Does the generator exhaust get in the way of the front stabilizers?

I had to raise my exhaust about 2" to clear the stabilizers when the aere retracted. No biggie.

I'll post pics this weekend if no one does before then. I also had to fabricate a cross brace for the rears stabilizers as my Rage'n did not have any cross beams to attach the stabilizer to. I'll post pics of that as well.
